No. Our analytics cannot see you anywhere except here, and cannot recognize you from one day to the next.

No, we never will.

No. There is no advertising, no social pixel, no chat widget, no third-party code of any kind on these pages.

Do you store my IP address?

Not in our analytics. Your IP is used for a moment to estimate your city, then discarded without being saved.

Is my message kept safe?

Yes. Every message is encrypted and held in secure accounts. It is protected by multi-factor authentication. The companies that host those accounts are named below.

How do I get my data deleted?

What we collect

If you contact us, we receive your name, email address, and message: only what you actually type, with no hidden fields. We use it to answer your inquiry and, where it goes further, to scope and quote the work. You are not added to any marketing list.

If you only browse, we record the pages you viewed and when, the site that referred you here, your browser and operating system, device type, screen size, language setting, and your approximate location (country, region, and city), together with how quickly pages loaded.

To distinguish one visit from another without cookies, the software combines your IP address and browser details into a short code, using a value that changes every day. Your IP address is used to generate that code and to estimate your city, and is then discarded: it is never written to the analytics database. Because the value changes daily, we cannot connect today’s visit to tomorrow’s, and nothing in the data contains a name, an email address, or any lasting identifier.

None of it is used to build a profile of you, to target advertising, or to train machine learning models. We use no session-recording or heatmap tools, and we do not collect sensitive personal information: nothing concerning health, biometrics, precise location, or race, religion, or political views.

No one else, unless a law or court order compels us, and if we are ever legally compelled to disclose information about you, we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so. If the business is ever sold or merged, inquiry and client records may transfer as part of it, and any successor would be bound by this policy for information collected under it.

How we protect it

We keep the number of places your information lives small, which is the most effective security measure available to a business our size. Every account holding personal information uses a strong, unique password and multi-factor authentication, this website and our analytics server are served only over encrypted connections, and access is limited to the two people who run the firm.

No system is perfectly secure and we will not claim otherwise. If information we hold is ever exposed in a way that puts you at risk, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as the law requires.

Do Not Track

Most websites ignore the “Do Not Track” setting in your browser. We honor it: if your browser sends that signal, we do not record your visit at all. You can also simply block our analytics; the site works identically either way.

Your choices

Email contact@sevencascades.com and we will tell you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy, within 30 days, wherever you live, whether or not a law requires it.

One honest limit: we cannot look up or delete your analytics data, because nothing in it identifies you. There is no name or lasting code to search for. The Do Not Track setting above is the way to stay out of it in the first place.

Where your information goes

We are in Austin, Texas, and serve customers in the United States. Our email and records stay in the US. Our analytics server is in Germany, so the visit measurements above are processed there.

Changes, and how to reach us

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. We will never use information you have already given us in a way this policy didn’t cover when you gave it to us, without asking you first.

Children

This is a site for business owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.
